Ceili Connors
Founder & Classical Guitar Faculty
I received my Masters degree in classical guitar performance at the New England Conservatory of Music in 2019 and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island also in music. I then spent some time studying and living in Granada, Spain, where I studied flamenco and Spanish guitar. I have enjoyed studying with some of the greatest masters of the instrument and now want to pass on my knowledge! I now teach virtually and in person, all ages and levels. While my specialty is in classical guitar, I do teach all styles including acoustic guitar from total beginner to professional musicians. I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages and musical backgrounds for over 10 years, and currently am on faculty at the Community College of Rhode Island and Cambridge Music Consortium. I prefer to use a a variety of teaching methods to create a personalized lesson to fit the needs of the student. With a background in the Suzuki method and classical training, I have experience launching students into guitar playing in a fun and effective way, while incorporating learning notation and music theory where appropriate. I am still accepting a limited amount of students in the Boston area and online! ceiliconnorsguitar.com
